Just remember, if you aren’t passionate about what you’re doing… why are you even bothering? Find your passion, trigger your discipline, and go for it.
Think about all the ways in which you have exercised your discipline and then ask yourself what those moments have in common – in every case, it’s very likely that it was for something that you really wanted or it was in pursuit of a true passion. Now you just need to learn how to harness that discipline to your business advantage as you look to embark on your own business venture.
Not everyone will follow their passion to become a billionaire like J.K. Rowling or Mark Zuckerberg, but if money is your goal, it’s time to reassess your values and beliefs. Your goal for success should be the accomplishment, the buzz, following your passion to joy and contentment. It’s an innate desire that drives you and the money, that is more than what is required to live a comfortable life, well, it is just icing on the cake.
